I'm new to this page and am looking for help, short verson, I'm 35 and just went off the pill in feb07 and got pregnant with my first baby, miscarried with dnc at the end of april 07. had my period in may nothing in june but not preg. again in july and then 28 days later on aug 6 now nothing and a test 9-6-07 said no but i am tired and my boobs are starting to hurt (nipples) they hurt the first time. is it possible? how long should I to retest? or should I forget it.please email if you have any advise sis@chipvalley.com

Well I retested tues. moring and still a no but still no signs of a period either. I feel kindda silly still hoping that it is possible but I do wonder. I have had some slight cramping but not much and last week some pain by my belly botton area. My bbs are still very sensitive in the nipple area. I also noticed I think last week very clear strechy cm and then a few days later very thick white cm.( TMI) I know but I need help. Is possible to be pregnant and get a neg.? I tested the 1st time when I was 2weeks late (that was a +) My cousin said she had to be at least a week or more for a hpt to be pos. I guess with my age and the fact I misscarried the first time I'm real nervious about not being able to get pregnant. I was always very irregular as a teen also, I wonder if that is playing a part here. I went on bc because I was so irregular at 18. Does anyone have any advice????

I called my doc. tues morning and they said to wait to see what happens till next. tues. all this waiting is driving me nuts. I had this on the am i pregnant boards but decided to post here as well. well thanks in advance. I had this posted in a couple differnt places on the site but I think I belong here. Maybe I will find a little more help and advice. thanks for taking the time to read.

You may have Oed really late and it's still too early for a BFP. I would give it a couple days and try again. That said some people are PG and never test + on a HPT.

Do you chart your temps? If so do you have the link to your chart?

Well Thank you for such a warm welcome. I am not charting my temp, just tracking my dates on the calander. I have tried a couple of time to use a ovulation kit. I will call the dr. tomarrow(Tues.either wayAF or no) and I,m going to retest then. I think if it turns up neg. I'm going to get the month long pack and test everyday maybe two if I'm going to be having long cycles. Sometimes I get so down and think I waited so long to try, you know get married at 30 make sure someone has ins. and get moved, you know be ready and have things in order and then get hit with a m\c and then not get pregnant again as quickley and wonder was that my chance? I joke about being 35 and just now stating but I sometimes wonder if I'm kidding myself. Well I didn't mean to rant but thanks again for the well wishes and thoughts and thanks for the rant

I have to agree with the ladies, wait a few more days ( its hard I KNOW) and test again....and yeah I have to admit, the charting does make it easier to see what is going on.

Thankss ladies I'll be calling the dr. today and talking to them. Still no AF and no sign. I havn't retested, I think I'll see if they will run blood on thursss. My day off. I'll let you all know what the dr says.
