Well darn it it wasn't what I hoped. That "thing" is indeed a blood vessel, the dr said he watched it pulsating. So all I have for tubes is remnants (sp?) So now I def. belong on the TTCMA board!
I did have scar tissue holding down my right ovary and it was starting to form on my left. There were a bunch of cysts on my ovary (I think the right one???) that he drained. So, I got all cleaned out and they put in the non-stick shields on both sides. I can't remember if there was a little endometriosis or not.
This time around was pretty nice, the dr was there and talking to me as soon as I woke up in recovery, and then again as they wheeled me into my room. The anesthesiologist was great too, turned out he & DH knew each other so that was kind of fun. And the nurses were great. HUGE HUGE difference from having my 1st surgery at this hospital! They did a great job deflating me too, I have hardly any bloat. Now I am just so tired . . .
IVF here we come!!!!! And I want to start ASAP, I wonder how fast I can get in. If possible I want to start next cycle. This one is obviously out, I should O on Wednesday, and anyway today I don't think I can speak quite coherently yet!

Maybe tomorrow I'll start making calls. And my dr said he would be happy to provide a letter of recommendation for reducing the cost, so hopefully that will help in that regard. DH still is thinking of going the route where you buy more than one chance at a time, but right now I just want to go for the one time and then hopefully we'll be able to get frozen embies out of it to use later.
Even though the results were not what I wanted, I'm still very glad to FINALLY have a definite answer, not to mention having that nagging pain gone.
Thanks again for all your support and encouragement!
