I just posted this in the pet board. but i thought that i would share them with u ladies. Well the other morning my scorpion was acting strange, and i left her be..later on in the afternoon i want to check on her and she had giving birth to some babies..
i was so excited! so are the kids, i could only get one picture so far. just cause momma bubbles cant be touched or disturbed. reason being she will kill her babies. and we dont want that. so here is bubbles and her babies. shes happy now! some are hiding on her other side, but there is 13 all together. the babies will stay on her back until she teaches them to hunt their prey, and they should be black just like momma before they come off her back. i hope u all enjoy. feel free to ask me anything about her and i will tell ya..lol

BRANDI! I had the exact same scorpian and the exact same thing happened to me. We had way more babies though. Not only did she eat a ton of them (I swear we were not bugging her, we never picked her up) but they started trying to kill each other. We had to seperate so many of them and out of all the babies only about 3 survived. Eventually she died. Momma was my favorite, I named her Hugs because she always climbed up the wall of the cage and it looked like she was trying to hug me.
Dee - They eat crickets.

Thanks. i know that many ppl have seen babies born or other animals, so i thought this is a different type of pet, and thought i would share.
There is a daddy, hes up in my sons room...lol...we have him staying away from her right now.
Dee, they eat crickets or small mouses. they prefer to have a pinky which is a mouse that is just born, with no hair what so ever. but thats only once in a while. we do it once a month for her, so that her skills stay up there.
they can give birth to many babies, but usually on their first batch, theres only a small amount. and she had a lot. and now we have her pictures all over the internet, cause there is NO way that im having that many scorpions in my home..lol..but im glad that u all enjoyed the pictures!

Brandi,
Sounds like you have babies coming out your ears. Sounds like you have a fertile household, maybe that's a good sign that this is your month.
