Fellow POAS aholics, please give me a little tip here. Oh first I should start by saying Hi, my name is Rhonda and I am a POAS aholic!! That is the first step right? ha
Ok ladies, so I poas with fmu and I am only about 8dpo and it was clearly negative, not shining it in any light, tilting it, pulling it apart ..nothing at all worked! So since I used my last one up, with exception of the CB digital (of course that is for after I get a bfaintp), I went and bought more FRER tests and so I held it for about 2-3 hours and now, when I hold it up to the light I see a fairly thick line where it should be if pregnant. I had to compare it to the one earlier today, but only the one from tonight shows anything.
I would love to share a pic, but I don't think you ladies will be able to see what I do. Is that old myth about the light bulb actually work?? Or should I post pics just to see what you lovely ladies can do with it?
Oh I can't wait to go to sleep so that I can wake up and poas!! Please tell me that I am not the only nutty one here!!

Phew!! Glad there are more of me out here! Well I tried to take the pic and then realized that after pulling them apart, now I see nothing again. So looks like I will just wait until I wake up and I am sure I will poas a few times and I will definitely post the pics to give you all something else to look at, turn sideways, or whatever magic we can do to it!

And what is this I read about pee'ing on dandelions?? lol
At least now I can laugh at you guys instead of just myself. My dh thinks I am completely crazy.
So of course I took another test this morning and it was till BFN, but in certain light I might see something..hehe I also used an opk and to my surprise it was very much positive??? Now I got even more things to pee on tomorrow!!
Oh and don't feel bad, I am a trash digger too!! Even days later I will go and look, especially if I have run out of tests.

Hi, my name is Tracy and I'm a POASaholic. I'm 8DPO today and peed on two sticks just because I had to go really bad and for some reason I think an extremely full bladder will force a line out of the test. They were both bfn, but it's given me something to do today. Oh, and I hide mine on my bathroom windowsill for days, thinking the sunlight might help the line develop. I check them often to see how they are coming along.
It's nice to be around others who understand.

Yay!! There are more of us!! And you are only 1 day away from me. Your chart looks amazing by the way! Just for the fun of it, if anyone wants to look at one that doesn't do much here is mine! http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/159a29 You will have to forgive me because I have been trying to break one addiction for the other, charting was starting to consume me so I kind of quit. However, now I am kicking myself for not temping like I should have. Oh well, guess we will know more in a few days.
Will you be testing again tomorrow calypso? I am sure I will be, even though I really should wait an extra day. I really talk myself into all the reasons that I should. Like, maybe my hcg is only 15 so it didn't show up on the test, but tomorrow it should go up by half, and that would mean that there will be two lines!! ha
What all crazy things do you ladies say to talk yourself into testing, or not to?

All I can say is WOW! Reading all the things we do with HPT's.....I do almost all the same things, take them apart, hold in different rooms/light, fish them out of the trash hours/days later....whew. Even the gals at Walgreens by my house have gotten to know me and wish me luck when I leave with my new "stash".

Oh man... DEE WE HAVE NEW FRIENDS.......
I pee on about 20-30 a month. I can't believe I just admitted that....LMAO
Last month the HPT fairy thought she would have some fun with me and gave me two "false" positives. Talk about feeding an addiction. It made me buy about 10 more just to see if they were "real" UGH.
This was the best trick ever.... with the SAME urine......
This month is gonna be fun!!!!

dh says by the end of the month we could sell tickets to the "freak show" in our bathroom. I take them starting about 9 dpo (at LEAST one a day) and then line them up in consecutive order along the bathroom counter. Anyone who rearranges them must cross me and it will not be fun
Last month I got into the habit of doing two tests out of the same cup of urine each time i tested. I was double fisting it The rationalle here was that I could compare "which line was darker" and also have a fail safe incase one of the tests was faulty. Also I liked to "race" them and see which test showed the BFP first. Basically, I am one sandwich short of a picnic. But that's OK... looks like I may be in good company :-)
I've never heard of the "light bulb" test. Please share!

Oh yeah...you girls will fit in just great here.....LMAO!!!!!!!
Jessica.... UMM realistically (sp?) 5 dpo is wayyyyyy too early. But I usually start at 3dpo.... just incase FF is wrong about my crosshairs
Someday I will wait until 12-14dpo to test...but I have yet to have that kind of self control <wacko>

Yay! Maybe we should start a team here. Something like team "WILL PEE ON ANYTHING!" Dip stick,, mainstream, opk, hpt, and ??dandelions?? ha
Ok I will make my confession then...I have already used 30 opks this month (but I o late, do i really need an excuse) and I have now used 5 hpts (2 today) and I will use another one tomorrow before I go in for the blood test!
Jessica~5dpo? that might be pushing it, I at least wait until 7dpo, but unless I have reason to believe ff did something wrong then it could be off by a day or 2. hehe
Bobbie, that is crazy pics. Are you really sure you weren't pregnant? I have never seen a false positive on the digital because those test so much higher (50miu) i think. It makes me wonder...hmmm. Sure glad that it didn't happen to me, because when I got my first one I went and used about 50 more tests that day. I seriously looked like the girl from KNOCKED UP! I bought the store out of hpts, all brands! Dh is worried the blood test will be + and then of course I wont' stop until I see a few BFP's myself. But I assured him I am normal, everyone on JM does that!!!lmao
