I have my dreaded HSG tomorrow morning. (Where the put dye in the tubes and x-ray them).

It's actually in about 8 hours and I am scared to death of this test. The last one (saline ultrasound) was so freakin painful. I just know this one is going to kill. I just hope it's worth the pain My doc refused to give me a stronger painkiller to take. So it's Aleve for me from here on in. I took two tonight and will take one again before bed and then when I wake up.

Can it be tomorrow night yet? I dread this more than the D&C I have to have on Oct 10th

I'm a lurker here, but I wanted to post because I have been through this too. My RE gave me a local anesthetic (sorry if that's spelled wrong). He said that most doctor's don't realize how truly painful it is for women and don't do the topical meds for pain. I would strongly encourage you to fight for this, I was pretty much numb and didn't feel much. My insurance covered it 100% because it's considered diagnostic. Good luck, I hope you are able to get more pain meds.

AWWW you girls never fail to make me smile Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Jen... I don't think I will be able to talk them into giving me anything else, but you can bet I will try again

Jessica.... It took us over 4 yrs to get PG this last time... and now it's been 7 cycles since and we still aren't PG again. I am almost 33 so they are going to do the test to make sure my tubes are open and everything looks okay.

Oh nosey doesn't bug me one bit

I just wish all this silly testing was all over with I am soooo sick of dr. apt's. I feel like my entire paycheck goes to co-pays

I had to co-pay almost $90 for the D&C that hasn't even happened yet. UGH I know if I was PG none of it would matter...but right now I am about to say enough is enough already

I will be thinking of you this morning and sending you peaceful and relaxed vibes!
So sorry for the testing and pending D&C, once it's all over I bet we will see a BFP from you soon!
You send out so many thoughtful vibes and baby dust out to all of us that you are more than due for your own!
