I am so sorry for your loss! Usually the dr. tells us to wait at least one full cycle before ttc again because it is easier for dating the pregnancy. However I wanted to tell you my experience. I had 2 mc's and they didn't do any testing. I got pregnant again and everything went really well until the 7th month, I found out my dd's heart had stopped. I just found out a few months ago that I have blood clotting disorders and this could have been avoided if they just tested me after my mc's. So they told me they don't normally do the tests until after 3 mc's. Why do we have to lose 3 babies in order to get a simple blood test, is beyond me. So I suggest getting some tests run for blood clotting, if you can. It is fairly common so I have read, and a lot of women just need to take a baby aspirin to continue through a pregnancy. Also they might check your progesterone levels too. I have heard that these are the 2 most common causes of early mc's. If you ever want to talk, feel free to pm me! Hugs!!

I am sorry for your loss.

You may also want to check out the Pregnancy Loss board. The ladies there are awesome.

My doctor told me to wait one cycle after my m/c at 14 weeks.

I hope your numbers continue to drop so you can start TTC again soon... if that's what you want. Lots of

First of all, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I/ve had two miscarriages and I asked the doctor to reffer me to a specialist so I could get testing done. You have to remember that no matter what the doctor says, it's your body and you have every right to ask to get testing done if you want it.
I was told to wait untill I had at least 1 cycle. This way your body can heal. SOme doctors tell you to wait a little longer.
As for your levels. Watch them carefully and just make sure you take care of yourself. IF you get any fevers or severe cramping I could call your doctor.
Again I am sorry for your loss.
