Hi everyone. Question... I miscarried at about 5 1/2 weeks. I really didn't bleed as much as I thought I would. I started bleeding Tue night, and had a heavy flow with lots of solid pieces/clots on Wed. After that it has lightened up so that I am just spotting today. Is that normal, or should I have bled more? Sorry for all the descriptions!!

I am so sorry hon

and don't worry about being too descriptive, we've all been there !
since your loss was early it is possible you won't experience very heaving bleeding, but unfortunately as most if the ladies here will tel you...."normal" is thrown out the window when it comes to an individual loss, and what happens with our bodies afterwards. Did your dr. say he / she would do a follow up u/s to see if your uterus was clear? If you are not having any more major cramping, and bleeding stays light, I would say you are ok..& it was complete....but don't quote me ok?
Take care of yourself & just pay close attention to how you are feeling.

Dee

I agree with everything Dee said

Sounds like you are okay.... if the bleeding or heavy cramping comes back though... give your Dr a call.
