Isn't it just lovely when the police knock on your door at 5am . . .
Some moron broke into BOTH our vehicles between 3 and 5am, smashed up the interior of our truck trying to get the stereo out, but so far looks like all they stole was part of the dash and the faceplate to the stereo. They also got our car - at least they didn't smash up the interior, but they did get the stereo and all DH's CD's.
At least we have full coverage on both vehicles, and it's not raining (yet). Took tons of pictures.
Dh is out there right now already vacuumming the vehicles out for all the glass.

They have a suspect. Apparently some kid was already busted for car breakins and his mom didn't want to deal with him so she dumped him off at his dad's, who happens to live right in our neighborhood.

UGH! That sucks. When I lived in AZ my car was broken into. I felt really violated. I was real angry for awhile (actually here is it 10 years later and I am stilled pissed about it). To add to it we didn't have full coverage on the car to cover the stuff not mounted to the dashboard so basically they didn't cover my cd's or books or backpack or subwoofer (which was about 1000 dollars). To top is all off I also had a car alarm at the time but I forgot to set it that one night. They stole the car alarm too. Sorry you have to go thru this. I hate theifs.

Anne.... OMG what a pain in the butt!!!!

We have not sooo good kids living two doors down from us too. Last time we called the cops they were shooting birds with BB guns and killing them. GRRRRRRRR

I hope your insurance covers all your loss. How frustrating!
