What the heck is wrong with me? I had a D&C 4 days ago. Now that my temp went up a little today it's soooo tempting to test even though I know it would be an act of God if I got PG this month. I am still spotting for goodness sake. I am addicted....UGH

Well I have two $ store tests left......

guess what I am gonna do?

Yep..... test cause I have NO self control

It's not your fault...it's an addiction. There really should be a 12-step program for it.

No Joke.

Step:
1. Reach into your pocket and feel the money that is not there to be spending on tests "just cause"
2. After you've convinced yourself that it's only a dollar, then figure out the amount of gas it will take to go to the $ Store
3. As you check out, you can't turn down those jumbo tootsie rolls that are just a dollar too... now how much have you spent?
4. No one can eat a jumbo toosie roll without something to wash it down. Gotta add in the cost of the gatorade.
5. Now that your on a sugar high you realize that you need real food. Add in the cost of a Subway meal.
6. Since your out an about why not stop at the book store to buy a pregnancy journal because this month "just may be the month". Add that cost in there also.
7. When you are about to leave the book store, realize that you've been wanting to look thru the latest baby names book. Turn around and go pick one of those up too. Add in the cost...
7. Oh crap, you realize it is now 6:00 and you are not going to have time to cook dinner before SO gets home. Don't forget to stop at Boston Market to pick up a chicken dinner. Yup, you know what to do.
8. Drive back home. You guessd it, more gas to calculate.
9. So, you've now have 3 more pregnancy tests you purchased at the dollar store. Who the heck can wait for first morning urine. Let's do a test now even though you just went pee 2 hours ago...
10. No surprise that it was a BFN. It's okay, can test again tomorrow morning... right?
11. You wake up bright and early ready to pee in a cup. After peeing you realize that your neck muscles are not very flexible in the morning and it is sort of hard to look / aim into a cup. After you clean up the mess it is time to actually test, YAY. Oh suck... BFN. That's okay, you've got one more.
12. Test again the next morning. Another BFN. It is no surprise since you just O'd 2 days ago. Who cares... It just costs a dollar to test... right?

Moral of the story. Just POAF

LOL

OK that is good!
Here is my real life example of what can happen when you think about buying some IC tests off Ebay....

Last Friday I logged on to Ebay to bid on IC tests (my first time trying these), a pack of 25 at a current bid of only 9.99, so I post my bid and start perusing around other categories. Alas, I am looking at lap tops and say, what the heck I'll bid, I never win anyway. Low and behold I placed my bid when there was only 17 seconds left.

Yup, I am now the proud owner (should be delivered tomorrow via UPS) of a Dell lap top for a grand total (after shipping was added) of $345. Later that same day I won the bid, I received an email notifiying me that I was not the high bidder for the IC pack of 25 tests....surprise surprise.

So it looks like my daughter will be getting a lap top for Christmas.....and I still don't have more HPT's.
