So my brother-in-law was telling me they used to do pregnancy tests on women by peeing on a frog and seeing if the frog layed eggs. I was like, HUH? Anyway, I guess it is true. Sooooo if you want to save money on pregnancy tests just get yourself a South African clawed frog. Check it out... http://www.slate.com/id/2134212/

If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
On August 2, 2012 we lost Sarah at 17 weeks. She was our 8th loss Her pictures can be viewed at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sarahdarrohn
There is no known explanation for my losses.

No joke! I thought he was trying to pull one over on me but I gave my BIL some credibility since he is in medical school so I googled it and sure enough I guess it is true! The sad thing is I considered getting a frog too but don't have the patience to wait 12 hours for the results! Maybe I'll just stock up on wheat and barley and do it Egyption style! LOL

Well...now that the dollar store sells them....I think that's cheaper than wheat and barley

Plus with frogs you have to actually feed them. I had tree frogs and they ate crickets 1-2 times a week. YUCK

Especially when they get out of the tank and you step on them on accident and they make that crunching sound... EWWWW

Wonder if you can pee on a cat? I have a bunch of them running around and when it's potty time they NEVER leave me alone......HMMMMMM

ROTFL! I got the chills thinking about a crunching sound. YUCK!!

Heck you never know. If your cats start leaking milk then maybe you'd be onto something. Sometimes I think that is all it take to be a scientist. Some harmless experimentation. LOL How about you test peeing on a cat and I'll test peeing on a cow. Now...just gotta find a cow. BRB

Hmmm.... seeing as my cats are all boys.... milk might be an issue...

and if I did pee on them... I would have to give them a bath.... well... they would like the bath part... they LOVE water but then they decide the *perfect* spot to dry off is my bed. GRRRR

Okay I will stick to HPT's.... for now....at least until *weeds* are in bloom again

about a month ago, there was the cutest little green tree frog that use to stick to my kitchen window every night and watch me do dishes........then one night it was getting cold, so I cranked the window closed....and saw something drop from the top of the window, he must have been sitting on top.....the windows above my sink are long and I couldnt see....until he fell on to the arm and I crushed him........... ....this post brought back memories......I may need therapy now....( if I didnt already!!!! )
