So are pregnancy symptoms normal to have after a m/c. Is it just hormones balancing back out? I mean have a lot of pressure down there, bbs are sore sometimes (not all the time), seem extra sensitive to certain spices, and feel shots of pain down there sometimes too, oh and I still leak when I apply pressure to my bbs. Is this normal? I don't think I am pregnant since we haven't dtd much at all since our m/c (Travis has been sick for week now, ugh). Anyway, I was just wondering what is considered "normal".

How long has it been since you m/c'd? It takes a while for your HCG to leave your body - even after you've had a d&c. Sometimes your "normal" will be different - like af may not be as heavy as b4, or she could be even heavier than b4. If it has been over two weeks since you m/c'd or had a d&c I would find it odd to still have symptoms. My last m/c it took about two weeks for my bbs to not be sore and for the pregnancy breakouts to clear. That pg my hcg levels were very high - not sure where yours were.

I miscarried on Friday, 9/28, 17 days ago. No D&C was required...I actually had my blood tested the following Monday and it was really low, like in the teens already (it was around 1650 on Thursday). The doc said he thought I would start my period in 6 weeks since my levels went down so fast. They did call me and ask me to go in for 1 final blood test so I did that today (to verify my levels did go back down to 0). Just wish I would get back to normal. The bbs leaking is terrible... To know I have milk but no baby. The pressure down there is very annoying too. I just want to go back to normal. Sorry for the rant.

Danica,

I am sorry you are going through this..and I wish we could all say what is normal....it would make things so much easier!
unfortunately, it takes longer for some women for their bodies to adjust to not being pregnant. My pg symptoms went away rather quickly when I m/c'd. and I KNOW this sounds CRAZY, but....putting a cabbage leaf in your bra will help dry out the milk....sounds nuts I know, but it works.....my friend's dr. told her to do that...and it really did dry it up.
Is the "pressure" you are feeling a possible uti maybe????
I really hope the best for you !!!

Dee

Thanks for the tips ladies. I thought maybe since I nursed Naden long (13-14 months) and he is 18 months now that maybe me getting pregnant stimulated the milk to come in way faster than usual. I mean, I am not wetting my shirts but I do keep an eye on it. I just hate having milk but not being pregnant or nursing. My doc called and he said my blood test I took yesterday was down to 2 (honestly I am suprised that it was even at 2, figured it would be 0 since I dropped so fast initially). Anyway that say I am in the clear so I guess I should just pray the pregnancy symptoms go away or I friggin get pregnant again soon. Thanks again for all your help.
