UMMM... yeah I am on vacation....in my house and my Pj's. I think I am on the every other day plan for getting up and actually DOING something. I slept till 1:00pm today. I honestly don't even know what day of the week it is.... and my goodness I LOVE it. Dave is new to his job and doesn't get paid vacation yet, so this week is all mine!


I do know Friday (his day off) we are going wine tasting on one of the Finger Lakes. I can't wait to get drunk and take pics of the changing leaves. Dave is really good about being DD and lets me drink all I want and make a fool of myself while he stays sober My poor credit card!

Anyways.....

what were we discussing? You girls should really try White Cat wine (NY state... Hazlitt winery) It's sooooo good...and a new release

my mom works for my uncle's winery(DiMatteo Vineyards) during the fall on the weekends & gets to travel all over NJ,NY & Pa. when they do their events.....

ooooh how I miss his little store !!!!! his wine is fabulous!!...he recently got a deal to get it into some casino's in Atlantic City.Its too bad Bobbie, you dont live closer to NJ, this weekend is the Cranberry Festival, and my uncle's cranberry wine will be flowing big time !!

last week our little grocery store out here had a guy from the local winery doing tasting right there in the store !!!....needless to say, it was the most pleasant shopping trip I ever had

Actually Dee not a bad idea for a thread, wine opinions, suggestions....could be fun! I'd be in! I am actually going to be at the Food and Wine festival at EPCOT in Orlando on Saturday an Sunday.....
