I agree with Dee! It'll fade after a little bit, don't re-dye it, because it could fall out or split and break off. Plus, I'll tell you this from experience - my hair turned into a giant fluff ball when I re-dyed it right away! DON'T DO IT!!!
POST PICS WOMAN!!!!

oh my gosh! i did the SAME thing!!! I dyed my hair two nights ago from blonde to dark dark brown. My blonde refuses to be totally covered though so there's still some of it in there. It looks very rockeresque. I'm still kind of in shock coz I've never dyed my hair dark like this!
Glad to hear it won't look this dark forever!!

On the hair dye thing, my MIL who is 67 years old just got back from visiting her grandkids in NY. I picked her up at the airport Tuesday and my jaw hit the ground......they dyed her hair bright fushia pink! I mean really shocking pink, you should've seen the looks she was getting! She got in the car and laughed saying, "Well I am 67 so I figured what the heck, I'm going to have some fun"...must of been one heck of a trip to NY! Anyway, I will take a pic of her and post. It actually in some strange way looks good on her.

Thanks girls <blushing>
I think in a day or two I will be really used to it. At first it looked almost black. Now I see the dark brown/red so I guess I can live with it.
I have been sitting here adjusting the color and cropping all the *self portraits* I took today. I have never taken pics of myself. I really hate seeing myself in pics. I weigh the most I have ever weighed in my life.... and well it doesn't make for good pics when you feel fat. Okay now I really am a dork. I may even be brave and post some of the pics on the photography board...
P.S. I can't wait to see the pics of your MIL Melissa.... she sounds like a hoot! I wish she was my MIL
I almost forgot.... here are pics of Dave sewing the costume last night...shhhh don't tell him I am posting them. He was trying to hide from the camera in the second one

WOOOOOHOOO! You look like a hottie to me...You better watch it tonight...Dave is gonna get him some of that! Seriously...I LOVE the color! I think it is great. I can not believe your husband sews. My husband thinks he is Inspector gadget ( I always hum the cartoon theme song to him. He does not like it, hehehe). If it has to be plugged in or runs on a battery he thinks he knows all there is to know about it. He usually can figure things out, sometimes he has to ruin it to figure out what is wrong, but eventually he gets it, but put him in front of a sewing machine and he can't tell the top from the bottom. You lucky gal!
