I am just wondering, has ttc started to take its toll on your love life? Has bd'ing become like a chore?
are you bd'ing just for the sake of ttc, or do you bd because you WANT to & look forward to it, regardless if it results in a bfp or not ??

lately it is just for the sake of getting that BFP! My DH hates it because I only want to do it, when I know I am Oing.

Well, we do it just for the sake of TTC. We both are really happy with once a week, but that doesn't work out as well when you're TTC, plus I've never had reliable OPKs before, so it's a lot of BDing "just in case".
It's not too bad, although if it takes us many months to TTC it might start to feel like more of a chore.

yeah I think sometimes it does feel like a chore, unfortunately. Most of the time it isn't and it's still fun.
Other times, though like tonight-I'm O'ing, but DH is beat and already went to bed. I'm like we're gonna miss the chance & not catch the egg! But he doesn't understand really how all this works. Me though, I'm thinking great we're gonna be out for yet another cycle.

I guess all of the above.

Some months it really feels like a chore. Other months it still feels like fun.

I guess for me my main problem with BDing... is I get so frustrated with Dave when he tries.... but...ummmm... can't deposit the goods. He is OLD. (42! YIKES.... just kidding!)

I think, right now, we still dtd, to dtd no matter what. Although this month was really a bust between illness & family issues
it's still fun,we still look forward to it....and as a matter of fact, after this post...well....lol

In the beginning it was just to get that BFP but now we are trying new things and its becoming more fun. But we are doing it AS much as possible just to be safe.

Before the 1st pg, it was always fun bc we weren't really "trying" just letting things happen. Then for the 2nd, we were actually TTC, and after a couple months DH was SO not into the schedule. He tried, but it didn't always work. He started to consider sex as just another job to do, which was a turn-off for him. Now that we have to go with IVF, we don't have to worry about that anymore! Well, except for scheduling the s/a and then the "deposit" for later.

Dwayne and I just DTD for the sake of being intimate. I don't chart, and for some reason whenever I know I'm Oing, we end up DTD anyway!
