Okay, I lurk a lot, but don't post much. I m/c 33 days ago, and am anxiously awaiting AF (how often can we say that???) so we can get back in the TTC saddle. I know 33 days isn't abnormal or too long to wait, but when you're obsessing like I am, it feels like forever. My cycles before m/c were 26 days.

I don't chart, so I don't absolutely know for sure, but I believe I Oed about 16-18 days ago. I am growing a little concerned because I wouldn't think the wait for my period to start would be late if in fact I Oed. There is only a very slight chance we are pg because we only BD'd once, and it was after I believed we had Oed. I wasn't supposed to get pg this cycle. I do have a test, but I sure don't feel pg. I have been feeling AF symtoms off and on for at least a week now, but still no show.

I know you'd all probably be POAS right now, but I just am not very convinced of that possibility. I am trying to force myself to wait as long as I can, so that if I might actually be pg the results will be absolutely positive. Mostly, can any of you who do chart tell me how many DPO you usually go before AF shows? Especially in those months soon after m/c?

TY!!
~Lauren

Lauren.... honestly seriously.... if it were me I would POAS just to be able to get an idea of where you stand. If it's a BFN a couple of things will be known... like that your levels are now down enough to have an idea that AF should be here soon.... and that you aren't PG yet. Could show + in a couple days though and at least you would have some idea of how far along you might be.

I would seriously POAS just to see what it says. And that isn't the obsessing part of me talking this time

I do hope it's a BRIGHT POSITIVE BFP.... but that is the wishful thinking me talking! Stranger things have happened

Whatever the outcome.... WELCOME TO THE POAS board girl! Now get posting with us crazies!

I got so caught up in peeing on things I forgot to say....

I don't think I Oed the cycle after my m/c. For women who chart it seems normal Lutel Phase (time after O) is around 12-15 days. Mine goes from 13-14 days usually.

Hope that actually helps

Lauren,

waiting for the first post m/c AF is excruciating!.....have you done any hpt's since your loss? sometimes you can still get a faint positive for weeks after. IF I remember correctly, I was getting bfp's for a month after my loss....
so just for that reason..I would say test....like Bobbie said, at least you'll know where you stand
I 'll share my patience dust with you if you'd like.....BUT I say....POAS !!!!

Good Luck to you !!!

Dee

Well, I POAS....

And what do you know? It was BFP!!! Much clearer than when I was pg the first time. I had blood work done a week after the m/c and my hormone levels were confirmed to be zero again, so I am pretty confident this isn't residual stuff from the m/c. I am excited, but mostly scared. I made an appt and had blood work done just a little bit ago. They will get back to me today on the official results, but we also ordered a quantitative test to check the hormone level and progesterone. I won't get those results until Monday, when I'll have more blood drawn to see if the numbers are rising as they should be.

I'm so shocked. And scared. And I'm just praying I really am, and most importantly that I STAY pregnant this time. I'm already further along than I was last month. I know it is hard to tell when you conceive in the same cycle you m/c, but I'm guessing I'll be due in June.

Keep prayers and dust coming my way... I'll keep y'all informed!
