Welcome to the board and I am so sorry for your losses!!!! I had 2 ruptured ectopics so I lost both my tubes. We're doing IVF with my next cycle, so I hope AF shows up on time!
Provided you have both your ovaries yet, you will still ovulate every month. Typically ovulation alternates sides each month but not always for some people I guess. Mine is really easy, I can always tell which side I'm ovulating from based on my LH surge and when AF shows up. My left ovary = 28 day cycle, LH on CD13, and my right = 27 day cycle, LH on CD 12. And mine alternates sides each month. Although, now things are a little messed up with my surgery last month (removed cysts and scar tissue thanks to the 2 previous surgeries) and I'm now on BCP for the IVF.

Ironic, isn't it, that I have to be on BCP for IVF when there's no way I can get pg on my own!

But they do it so they know what to expect from your cycle, or at least that's the hope.
Anyway if you want to try and figure out which side you're on, you can always try counting cycles from where you KNOW it was your left side, with the left tube ectopic. You will have a better chance getting pg when you ovulate from your right ovary. There are documented cases of women with only one ovary and one tube, say for example left ovary only and right tube only getting pg, so somehow the opposite tube can pick up the egg, but it's not very common. I'm not saying you WON'T get pg when you ovulate from your left ovary, but you're alot more likely to get pg when you ovulate from your right ovary, so that could mean you would only have a good chance every other month.
After I lost my left tube, we got pg 5 cycles later, during a right-ovary cycle. But unfortunately for me it was another ectopic, so that tube was removed too.
Hope this helped and good luck!!!
