Here are the guidelines - please only sign up if you can meet these guidelines so that your buddy doesn't get caught short! (Also, if YOU have an idea for a swap that you would like to see or participate in, please let me know!)

IT MAY SEEM LIKE A LOT BUT IT DOES KEEP THE SWAP MOVING SMOOTHLY!
1. A questionnaire will be posted below. It is not required that you answer the questions, but it is an excellent way for your secret pal to get to know a little about you. If you choose to NOT answer the questions, please PM me and let me know why.
2. Secret Buddy assignments will be e-mailed to you on November 5 - 7. This will be the start of the secret pal exchange period. It will last for 3 months, until approximately late September. We will reveal our secret buddy identities on febuary 1. You will only have one secret buddy per exchange.
3. Plan to send at least 3 packages over the 3 months and as many e-cards or letters as you can or want to. Each package should be valued at no less than $5(NOT including shipping) and no more than $20 (NOT including shipping). There are MANY things that will ship very inexpensively. Feel free to include things you already have around your house, handmade items, etc. You do not have to go out and spend this amount; this is simply what each package should be worth, roughly. For ideas on what to get your pal, refer to the questionnaire they filled out. That is the best place to get ideas!
4. Please keep in touch with your pal. Send your pal notes, e-cards, cards, letters, postcards, etc. Three months is a long time. We all know how nice it is to get snail mail, something other than junk. Let this swap be a revival of sorts of the lost art of snail mail! Keep it flowing!
5. E-mail the coordinator (lilmommabear2000@yahoo.com) when you send or receive a package from your secret pal so that she can keep track in case something goes amiss. Those who do not keep up their end of the swap will not be allowed to participate again, should there be future swaps. If you are participating and do not receive packages and correspondence as you should, please PM and let me know about it.
6. Please thank your pal for her thoughtfulness when you receive something. It will make her day! Thank you’s can be posted on the JM forum board in a thread designated for such notes. A final thank you should be sent via snail mail when your secret pal is revealed (on Febuary 1.)
7. Make sure your postage and receiver’s address is correct before mailing. Mark your package with “JM Secret Buddy Swap”. In order to keep your mailing address secret with today’s mail laws, use your secret pal's address as the return address, just be sure you've got the right address.
8. Take care in your packaging, writing, salutations, etc. and on the forums to NOT reveal your identity to your Secret Buddy. This will spoil the fun. It will take a conscious effort but it will be such fun!
9. Be thoughtful in what you send. Please don’t send anything that you wouldn’t like to receive yourself. As stated before, you don’t have to spend a lot of money on this but what you send should be thoughtful, nice, and be-fitting of the recipient. Bear in mind that these swap participants are Justmommies TTC Ladies[

]" . Plan to accommodate that when you compile your goodie packages.
10. And don’t forget about simple cards, notes, letters, and postcards! These are just as important as packages. Send as many of these as you do packages. Ideally, your pal will receive something from you – big or small - once a week, even if it’s an e-card.
11. Most importantly – have fun!
::: Questions about all of this? Feel free to PM me with questions or concerns at any time during the swap. I can’t promise that I can fix it but I will do what I can. (lilmommabear2000@yahoo.com)
Disclaimer: If you happen to get a bum swap partner, I am sorry. I will randomly pair people with the hope that everyone who has signed up was sincere in their wish to participate. Ultimately though, I am not responsible for packages sent, received, not received, etc. Your participation in this swap is completely voluntary.
And, it should go without saying… don’t send anything dangerous, gross, obscene, offensive, etc.
That’s all!
Swap on, good people
