Well I don't have the actual numbers but it wasn't great.

He has to go back and do it again. They also had the *talk* with him. And he may FINALLY take this seriously. They said no alcohol, caffine and he has to take vitamins and eat right. I guess all it takes is a stranger saying your sperm are bad to get a guy to wake up! GRRR I have been saying the same thing for the past 7 months. He thinks a six pack of beer a couple times a week is no big deal and 4 pots of coffee at work could never be bad right? MEN!

I am just so frustrated. I am the one stuck with a million dr apt's..... tons of bloodwork.... painful tests.... hundreds (probably well over a thousand by now) of dollars in hospital bills (we have seperate checking accounts and he has yet to pay a penny of it).... and he won't take this seriously. Some days I just feel like saying I QUIT.

Okay vent over..... I just hope he really does what he says he is going to do this time

I'm so sorry Bobbie, that would be SO frustrating. Seriously, our bodies get put through SO MUCH turmoil just to have healthy babies, and guys think they have it hard! Ack.

Hopefully his eyes are open wide now!!

aww bobbie I'm sorry! I swear men are so frustrating sometimes. They seem to think it is always the woman's fault that you're not getting pg right away & if you mention it might be them it's like you are hitting their masculinity or something. ARGH! I hope he does what the doctor said to him!

oh Bobbie - so sorry Dave is being stubborn. They never listen to us - NEVER think they could be the reason you are having ttc/mc issues. It's a macho thing - they all think they have studly swimmers. Hopefully he will listen to the doc's and cut back on the coffee and brews.

Sometimes mean can really be dumb. It does feel like all the pressure is on us to do the "right" things to get pregnant, while men get to just enjoy the ride, so to speak.

Well I think maybe he is serious about this finally

He came home with white roses last night.... got me my Robitussin and grapefruit juice...

and this is the best part.....

I was reading in bed last night and he picked up my "Getting Pregnant" book and started reading! LMAO It was too cute And no Dee I did NOT give him a sloppy kiss

I think I am going to BD every other day this month until the results of the next SA come back. If there is a sperm issue they say to do it every other day... so I think that is going to be the plan

Thanks for all you support girls.... It means the world to me

Bobbie,

Like I said in chat last night....they just have that "no way, not me" attitude.
I think it's great that he was reading the book ! that fact that he bought you roses, well, maybe that means HE GETS IT!
and instead of saying it, (they never do that) he is showing you.....it's great !!!!!
I think your plan is a good one....and I cant wait til you get your bfp ! !!!!

Love ya girlie !!!!

OH I am so sorry he wasn't being extremely proactive in ttc. Sounds like he is on the right track now though! Not that it is any consolation or anything but I go through this with my dh. Heck, I chart, use opk's, take prenatals, my other meds, take extra special care of my diabetes and all he has to do is make a deposit and sometimes he doesn't even do that! I guess I am just trying to say I know your frustration. Oh and just wanted to let you know that a multivitamin is supposed to help with his little swimmers too! Also sometimes if the dr. gives the man an antibiotic it can clear things up. I hope you get a bfp real soon and a crying baby at the end of 9 months!

It sounds like you have a good plan in place. Sometimes people don't really understand things until a 3rd, neutral party tells them what the issue is. I am glad to see he was reading your book! Too cute. BIG HUGS!!
