Does it matter when you are due for AF when you take your test or does it really matter how many DPO that you are? I am just wondering because I'm about 9-10 DPO but last month AF didnt show till day 46. I am just trying to figure out when I should test. Thankx all. The reason I say 9-10 days is because I got a + OPK on the 20th and 21st so that would make me either 9 or 10 DPO. I think more like 9 but who knows. Thankx again.

I am no expert but I think that what matters is really the dpo number since if you concieved during ovulation your hcg levels would rise from that date. I thunk that sounds right...

Angela,

since you have erractic cycles, I would go by DPO, but that's just me.
I hope you get your bfp soon hon !!!!

Thankx lady's. I am going to try and wait till next week before I test just to be safe. I have no symptoms that jump out at me that say I'm pg but it could still be early. Then next week I should be either 15 or 16 DPO.

With erratic cycles, I might wait a few more days. But I would think going by DPO would be the most correct thing to do! Ha. Now I didn't help at all!!
