Alrighty Ladies,
I need your input. I had lots of CM on Monday took an OPK and it was negative, did the deed anyways (figured maybe I didn't wait long enough or drank to much water). Took an OPK yesterday negative. Had lots of CM today, took an OPK negative. What is going on? I thought I had some idea about what was happining in my body. Is it the cheap dollar store OPKs or what? This is day 13 of my cycle so it should be just about time. Oh well! Will test tomorrow but I am DTD tonight anyway!

I know some women have a really short surge, so they have to use two OPKs per day to catch their surge, or they totally miss it. That could be the case. OR...some women just don't have success with OPKs, so if you are having fertile CM, I would keep on BDing, especially if you usually O around this time of your cycle!! Good luck!

I just wanted to add that it is common to have several days of fertile cm leading up to O. Also I noticed the $store ones are a little less sensitive than the answer brand. Keep on bd'ing as long as you have that cm!

I don't think everyone gets a clear positive on the opks. If you see them getting darker and you have good CM, then I'd BD anyway.
They are annoying though...having to hold you pee for so long!
