Hey girls Ive been feeling sick the past couple days and today it put me in bed all day. I have a headache and sore throat and i think an ear infection. Im on my cd12 I should be ovulating sometime between sunday and tuesday. I was wondering if being sick can effect opk's or even ovulation. Let me know if you know anything. That would be great Thanks ~ Emily

Hmm, I think stress can delay ovulation, and I would think that being sick could delay it also. But I think? you should still see your Lh surge on the OPKs before you ovulate.

Hope you feel better soon!

Ya know, I'm not really sure. Its hard to say if your body is actually stressed out enough to delay ovulation, but I'd imagine anything is possible. Hope you get to feeling better soon!!

I am not sure either. I do know when I have been sick it didn't delay it. I guess it depends how run down you get?

hope you feel better!
