I am watching Brother and Sisters and they wrote in the show that one of the girls was pg and lost the baby. They wrote that she has a missed m/c and that she was going to have a D&C. Its weird how much more they are writing about m/c's on tv. I guess its good, it shows that its common. Just wanted to share.

You know - I was thinking the same thing when I saw the season finale of "Tell Me You Love Me" on HBO. They didn't go into what happened after the m/c, but talked about how common it was. It's much different than how it used to be handled on the soaps - like a woman would have a stressful day or have a fight with her husband and all of a sudden she miscarried. More realistic scenarios now.

You know, I'm really happy that television writers have opened their eyes and are now putting REAL life things on their shows. Whether it be abuse of any kind, divorce, accepting gay children or even miscarriage. I know seeing a woman on t.v. miscarry always brings back all of the emotions when I had mine and I'm glad they show things as realistic as they possibly can.

I remember seeing the commercial for that show you're talking about Angela, and it brought tears to my eyes. Just like when Victoria from Young & The Restless miscarried the first time.

I watched this last night too...WHOA did it bring back memories and emotions. SO SAD. But it is nice to see that people will maybe realize its not taboo to talk about a m/c.

I watched the show too! It was so sad, I agree it brought back so many emotions!
I think it's great that the topic is being discussed more openly these days, it helps you not feel so alone!

I have also noticed more celebrities talking about their struggles to get pregnant.
