I had a loss at 8 weeks.

Per my doctor, I waited to have one cycle before TTC.

Is that my first cycle after the loss?

I miscarried November 2nd. So would I wait until after the cycle I get in Deccember giving I get six weeks, or the one in January?

Ya know i left it up to God and my body. I figured if my body was ready for another pregnancy then it would accept it and if it wasn't then it wouldn't. I was only 3 weeks though when i m/c. I still havn't gotten pg 2 cycles later so i guess i wasn't ready. I think if i would have been further along i def would have made myself wait. Hope this didn't confuse you but its up to you do what you think is right for your body.

I was told to wait until after AF showed for the first time. ( I didn't... but didn't get PG anyways)

You can start posting with us whenever you are ready. You don't have to be TTC at the moment to post with us As long as you can handle our silliness We are a bit crazy at times.

to the TTC after loss board!

It all depends on how you're doing emotionally. For me, if I got pregnant right after my m/c I'd be a basket case thinking I'd lose it again. You don't even know if you'll get your cycle in December, so, planning right now might not be accurate. My cycles have been all over the place, didn't come in August at all, and for October it was 2 weeks late and I'm still having AF. Everyone is different!!

I'm so sorry Stephanie. My doctor told me to wait a couple of cycles. To me, it was just a standard answer, not anything tailored specifically for me. Doctor said there is a slightly higher chance of m/c recurring right after a m/c, so I'm giving it one cycle and then we are ttc again. I m/c October 17th...O'ed yesterday or today according to my fertility monitor, so AF should be here in 2 weeks or so (crossing fingers) and and when she's gone, then we start.

Good luck to you and come on over...nice group of ladies here
