First if you want to know why it is called that.... this will explain it...... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Friday_(shopping)

Now that you all know what it is...

If you are looking forward to the sales that day.... check out www.bfads.net

They have most of the major retails ads posted already! The store I work in won't even tell us what is in our ad (and I am managment...LOL) I found it online. I sooo can't wait to shop that day!

They don't have those days up here! Stores usully have AMAZING sales on Boxing Day, but who the heck wants to go shopping on Boxing Day???? NOT ME!!! Don't get me wrong, the discounts are truly quite wonderful, but, if I've just dished out close to $1000 on gifts for the family, spending more money isn't in my Crystal Ball!

I hope you girls catch great deals!!! I can't wait to read about your shopping horror stories!!!

I don't think there is anything that will drag me out of the house this year. Last year my poor mother camped out a couple of times, once in the rain, to get my sister, my other sister, and me WIIs. I think we are going to go to the movies this year

Oh you should really try it once.... just to witness the madness LMAO

I must admit sometimes I just sit back and laugh at what some people will do to save $2 on some things!

When Dave and I have gone together it has been A LOT of fun. And we got some great deals I think we went to Target that year. They do a pretty good job of having enough of the hot deals on hand.

How neat. I'll have to send my friend that link. As for me... I keep my turkey stuffed butt in the house the day after Thanksgiving. One time I went to Best Buy on black friday and I just had to turn around and leave. I don't like that stressful energy so I ended up leaving the store. Actually I don't like to shop at all end of November - December. I do most of my shopping online during those months cause I can't take the crowds! Have fun to anyone who intends to go out on black friday! I'll be in bed

I just can't bring myself to do it. I worked in retail for 6yrs (I was a shoe buyer for Nordstrom) and always worked the day after Thanksgiving. It amazed me to watch the people and the crazy looks in their eyes. ...spooky I tell you, and that was at Nordstrom, I can just imagine the insanity at Target! And I absolutly love Target but not enough to go the day after Turkey day.

I actually already started my shopping. My goal every year is to be finished by Thanksgiving. After that I can just sit back and eat and sleep!

I've gone a couple times and have no desire to do it again! My mom and I went to Best Buy and had to walk out. What a waste, getting up at 4 am for that! I'll just stick to online shopping. Plus, living in the middle of the city...waaaay too many ppl here. Maybe we'll go to Wisconsin though. Uh oh, now I'm in a shopping mood. Don't tell Zack!
