Okay, since we lost the baby after the first trimester, I really feel like I should name our little one. I canNOT continue to say "it" like our precious child wasn't loved and didn't matter.

However, we didn't know the sex, although I *think* it was a boy (strictly mother's intuition - nothing scientific at all folks). It was too early to tell, and since I had a natural m/c and the water bag was still intact, we didn't look.

I've been trying to find a name that would work well for both boy and girl, and also one that means something to me. Soooooo, I found this one online and it spoke to me for some reason. It is slightly more "boy" than "girl", but I think since I thought it was a boy, it would be okay.

Here it is - Asher. It means "light". This little baby brought such light into our lives, even if it was only for a very short amount of time. It could work if it was a boy or a girl, even if it is a little more "boyish".

Soooo - what do you all think? I haven't said anything to dh yet because he's in bed right now, but I like it a lot.

I love the name Asher. It is actually on my list for my next baby. It is one of the few names in the bible that I really like too. Good choice!
