Hello!

At my last u/s (when I found out there was no heartbeat and I would soon m/c) I was told that I have a "retroverted uterus". At first, they thought this was the reason they couldn't find the heartbeat (the angle of the u/s), but it turned out to be a blighted ovum. Anyway, does anyone else here have a retroverted uterus? I guess it means that my uterus is tilted towards my spine rather than towards my stomach. I was 12w pg and from what I've read the uterus should "right" itself between 10-12 weeks as a retroverted uterus is not condusive to full term pregnancy. Since mine hadn't straigtened or tilted towards the stomach, I was wondering if it is something I should be concerned about for a future pregnancy. In the meantime, I'm waiting a full cycle before we ttc again.

well during my 3rd lap they said I had an "introverted" uterus, which I am going to guess is opposite yours, tilting forward? Anyway the dr said he "put it back" and he wasn't concerned about it at all. Interesting that it was not that way for the 1st two laps.
