My name is LeAnn and I am 23 years old. My DD, Alyssa is 15 months old. I have an angel baby, Dominic Manuel and he was born October 19, 2007. I am wanting to TTC so badly ASAP, but my pregnancies and c/s were really close and I need time to heal, physically and mentally. I love JM and I loved being apart of my DDC (now playroom), but it is not the same when your baby doesn't come home with you. I need a few more boards to hang out in. I am a firm believer in VBACs and had to have a second c/s due to my son passing. So DH and I are waiting at least 6 months, then we might stop preventing and let nature take it's course, just have fun.....

I would love to be around as you gals get your BFPs. It would make me feel better, I think. I can't wait until we start TTC again. TTC after a loss can be nerve wrecking and upseting. With my first pregnancy, I m/c at 13 weeks. I TTC for 8 months after that. I finally got my beautiful baby girl. DS was a BCP baby, he was a surprise coming in my life and sure surprised us when he left our lives.

Stay strong, you will get your BFPs!

Of course you are welcome here! It's a fabulous group of women as you will soon learn.
I cannot put in words how sorry I am for your loss. Your son is beautiful and you sound like a very strong woman.
Just know that we are all here for each other to laugh, cry, vent, and everything else in between.

Welcome on board LeAnn!!! I'm so sorry for your loss!!! Dominic is such a beautiful baby boy!!!

I know what you mean about seeing the BFPs...how they would make you feel better....I know for me they helped a lot. It put a lot of positive thoughts and is giving me lots of hope for future pregnancies.

Good luck when you begin TTC again! I can't wait for YOU to get your !!!!

Welcome, welcome, though (of course) I'm so sorry you have a need to be here. I remember reading your story and I looked at EVERY single one of your pictures you had online. My heart broke for you...I cried for you, and all of the ladies who have to experience the loss of our precious angels.

I'm also not TTC right now either, after our loss. We won't be trying until next month, but I LOVE being here and seeing everyone else's excitement!

Thank you gals! I need some where other than my playroom to hang out. The only reason I didn't stop posting there is because I love the girls on there and couldn't ask for a better DDC support group. It is hard, but I try to stay away from the picture posts and mommy brag post, but I love giving advice on babies!

Welcome LeAnn! I too saw your post in the PL thread and looked at all the wonderful pictures of your son. He is beautiful and it is always heart breaking to see them come into the world so perfect, yet leave us for no apparent reason. I am so sorry for your loss, but glad to have you with us. I agree it is hard to be a part of some of the other boards. I sometimes lurk in my DDC but it has been so hard to see them move forward without me. I also check out the PL thread once in a while but it too is so hard as each time I hear or see of another loss my heart breaks all over again. I have found a comforting home here amongst all these gals, and I'm sure will continue to stay even after I get my BFP or decide no longer to TTC. I have just made so many friends here, with such spirit and enthusiasm compared to the other boards that I could never just walk away. All the gals her are also a great source of support and it doesn't take long on here to get a good pick me up. Glad you found us!

Hi LeAnn. I am so sorry to hear about you little angel. His picture is beautiful.

I am glad that you made your way over here to TTCAL. Like the other ladies said, it is a great group. TTCAL can be your shoulder to cry on or have you ROTFL. Probably both (at least for me anyway!). I hope that with time the pain eases for you and when you are ready that you'll get a quick BFP. Welcome!
