So I had my blood drawn on Monday to check my hcg and make sure it was back down to 0. So I called on Tuesday for my results and they are finally at 0 And she said that I should get my first AF within 6 weeks. I said "It's gonna take that long?!" And she said, "well, maybe not, but if you don't have AF by the end of Dec, give me a call."

It's already been 29 days since my d&c, so I figured I should be expecting AF any day now. Not that it really matters, I guess, b/c we're not planning on ttc for a couple/few months....but still! I just want to get back to normal, kwim?

So my question is, how long after your m/c or d&c did it take you to get AF?

I had spotting on the 38th day after a D&C, and bright red AF on day 40--so unfortunately I had to wait a long time. I hope you don't have to wait so long.

Congrats on your levels reaching 0!!! I bet you and your hubby are excited to get that news.

I had a natural m/c and from the day I stopped bleeding, until the first day of my 1st AF was 32 days.

I had a D&C on September 19th, I bled for 21 days total (last five were spotting), I spotted for four days last week and I'm still waiting for AF.

I started 34 days after I lost the baby. I did't have a d&c though but my doctor told me that I should have begun my period in 6-8 weeks. Hope AF comes soon!

After my m/c and D&C on July 20th, I bled for 12 days and spotted for an additional 8 days!

I finally had a regular period at 35 days after d&c! Then I bled for another 8 days and they then
put me on prometrium to get ride of some of the tissue that was still left over.


I officially got back to trying in October! This is the second cycle for me since the m/c!



I know how excited I was when the counts finally got back down to 0!!!!

With all of my mc's it took about 4 weeks after my hcg levels hit 0. So... with my molar preg that was about a total of 11 weeks w/o the old hag. I never got AF w/ the second (I got preg again right away) and then with my ectopic it was 6-7 weeks total.
I know the waiting stinks... you just want to feel normal & it's almost impossible to feel normal when you have NO clue when AF is going to show up. I had some form of femine product stashed in every imaginable place (the car, my purse, my desk at work...)

YAY!! Congrats on getting to 0!! I had a natural m/c and I got AF way before my numbers got to 0. I think AF was a little less than 5 weeks after my m/c, but it took 9 weeks for my HCG to get to 0!!

Hi there! Congrats on getting back to normal levels!!

I am still waiting on AF from my most recent mc/D&C. I am on cycle day 31 today and getting ready to O, which means I probably still have another 10-14 days before AF. I wish I would hurry the heck up and O already!!!

Anyhow, with my 1st mc, it was natural, not far along at all and it came 5 weeks after I started to bleed.

With both my natural m/c and my D&C it took 40 days to get AF after both. Hope you dont have to wait that long though.
