I have one. I got pregnant the first month using it (though I never hit peak fertility and thought I didn't o). Make sure you have a second box of sticks handy...it ate up nearly a whole box the first month (and the second, come to think of it).

What I don't understand is why it kept asking for sticks after it showed peak fertility this month and then went to high for two days and then dropped to low...and when it got to low, it kept asking for sticks I stopped giving it sticks.

Today I reset it for CD1...Woo hoo!!! Now I get to officially TTC again.

If you have any questions, let me know. And it will definitely cure you of POAS disease....and make sure you set your testing window to allow for weekend sleeping in-I've missed turning it on during the testing window a couple of times because I was still sleeping.

It supposed to pinpoint extra days that you are fertile. It will tell you when your estrogen level increases-this means that the other surge is coming and you need to get busy. Then it tells you when you are about to O-that way you don't miss it. And then it tells when you are just about done o'ing and you have time to DTD one or two more times. It gives you about five days that would be good for bding.

Hmmm, so when you say keeps asking for more sticks is this something that you strap to you and it does a reading through your skin? Or do you pee on it?

It's a hand-held machine, a little bigger than your hand in size. You pee on the stick and snap it into the monitor and it reads it. In 5 minutes it will tell you if you have low, high, or peak fertility. You start the monitor on the first day of your AF and it keeps track from that day on. You start it back to Day 1 when AF comes again.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in here, but I have the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor, and got preggo the 2nd month. My friend got preggo the 2nd month as well. It's a bit pricey, but you can find some good deals online. It sounds like what the other poster was talking about, you pee on a stick every morning, and it reads your levels and tells you if it is a peak, high or low day. I plan on using it next time too. Good luck!!

Yay!! Someone to monitor with!! I researched it quite a bit before buying and the number of people who positively reviewed it way, way outnumbered the ones who didn't like it. If $200 means the best chance of getting pregnant, it's money wisely spent to me. I don't buy OPK's or anything else. If you've been ttcing awhile, I definitely think it's something to try.

If you are on Clomid, though, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The manufacturer doesn't recommend it for Clomid users.

Pick up some batteries and a box of monitor sticks

And keep the monitor in a dry place-steam from the shower can ruin it.
