DH and i are baking Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars with Streusel Topping--a Paula Deen recipe (or however you spell her name). we're practicing for Thanksgiving.
i can smell it and it's wonderful!!!!!

well, they didn't turn out at all! well, only the edges turned out. we followed the recipe to a T and it was way undercooked. so, we threw it out and we're going to try again. this seems to happen when we bake together. maybe i should do the baking and he should stick to dinner.....

sometimes I have that problem when I bake certain things...its seems like my oven actually needs to be set a few degrees higher than what the recipe calls for....its a pain!!.............
but practice makes perfect...and I would love to try the next one....you know just so we'll know if it's good....
