every christmas, i make my brother and parents a DVD slideshow with pictures of my brother's kids from the past year.
my brother cries like a baby!! and it's all my parents ever want for christmas anymore.

i need some help coming up with songs to use, though, about growing up.
the DVD is usually 2-3 songs long.
i'm already using Let Them Be Little by Lonestar.

any other ideas? it can be any genre.

thanks in advance.

Boys or Gir;s or both?

There are a few good ones that are gender oriented right now...there is I loved her first (country can't rememebr the name of the artist) about a daddy watching his little girl grow up and then there is another on...I will have to ask my husband about a lottle boy who wants to be just like his dad...I had the name then started typing and forgot it...UUUGGGGHHHH I hate that!!!

yeah, they have 2 girls and one boy and i know exactly the songs you are talking about.
i can't think of them off hand, but i'm trying to find a song for both genders because it would be easier.

Dee Carstensen has a great lullaby cd. You can hear the cd sound clips here... http://www.deecarstensen.com/lullaby/lullaby.html. I think Bless My Child is one of the best I've heard for children and would probably go well on your dvd. When I hear Amy's Angel I think of my angel baby, Aspen. It chokes me up but is beautiful. All the songs are good choices though.

I often do photo videos too I just use Microsoft Plus! Photo Story. What software do you use?

Um... to go with the country theme (i love country music i am such a redneck lol)

Alan Jackson - Remember when (parents remembering when their children were young..how time has changed)

Rodney Atkins - Watching you (about a little boy wanting to be just like his dad)

Martina McBride - I have been blessed ( pretty self explanitory)

Sara Evans - You'll always be my baby ( self explanitory)

Tim Mcgraw - My Little girl (self explanitory...so cute!!)

Hope that helps!
