hey there all

I joined the fertility friend today.. i will be taking my temps at the same time every morning starting tomorrow.. i am also gonna take a HPT tomorrow to make sure it comes up negative again...

im not sure how my chart is really gonna work out this month since i dont really have a cycle day 1.. not sure what to go by at all really.. so i just put today as my first day...

dont really have a clue what i am doing.. but it will be fun and hopefully by the time i get my period ill have it all figured out...

Here's a Q for yall.. Ive had a lot more CM today than usual... id say its kinda watery though.. think Ovulation is close or past? im still thinking not at all this month... we'll see... but my DH and i have started to take precautions again.. because not matter how much i want to be pregnant i would be scared to death that i would lose another baby if i got pregnant this month...

First...Congrats on joining FertilityFriend.com!!!!!! I started out on there, and it got wayyyy too confusing for me, so I switched to MyMonthlyCycles.com.

Now...onto your question...

My CM right now is watery too, and I know it's because my Ovulation has passed. Seeing as how you don't want to get preggers right now, maybe it's a good thing that your CM is watery??

I know FF.com has an email that they send out...like..basics for charting, I think it's called Charting Lessons 101. Maybe sign up for it?

Good luck with your temping and charting hun!!!!

Hey there! I love charting; I use Fertility Friend myself, but I have never even checked out any others.

Anyhow, as for your first day, I don't think it really matters this time around. BUT, I am pretty sure that FF analyzes your avg cycle length, etc., so I would make sure to exclude this cycle in the cycles tab.

It IS a lot of fun. I was so amazed at how much I learned about my body when I started charting.

For me, I noticed that sometimes O comes before the CM dries up, and other times I will O 2 days after CM is gone. The only thing that will tell you for sure is your temp change or an OPK. Plus, you have to keep in mind that your egg is good for 12-24 hours after you ovulate.

Good luck Em, let us know how it goes.
