Alright here it is ladies...I need a little info...
I miscarried on Sept 22nd, and I bled A LOT ended up in emergency passed out due to low blood volume and they couldn't get a blood pressure on me for a while. VERY scary. So I had a period October 18th (it was lighter than my periods before the m/c but was 5 days. My OB had told me to expect a heavier period due to a small pocket of blood, about 2 cm left in my uterus after the m/c). Well I started my period on Saturday Nov 17th and it has been EXTREMLY light. As a matter of fact today I am just using a panty liner, and there is nothing on it yet. Also (***TMI****Warning) there has been no clots...usually on my heavy days I will have some clots , but nothing from this period or the last one. Is this normal? Am I not having heavy bleeding because of the fact I had soooo much with the m/c. After the m/c I was severly anemic, but that cleared up right before I got A/F in October. Should I be concerned, or just go with it. I know our bodies get all screwed up after a m/c just not sure if I should be worried yet...any answers or help would be appreciated.

First off, I am sorry for your loss *hugs* I've heard too that your 1st AF after m/c is supposed to be super heavy. I just started mine yesterday, and it's only a bit heavier than my usual. (I had a d&c, but 11 days later I was bleeding heavy and passing huge clots so I had to go to the ER...sorry tmi...they said they prolly hadn't gotten it all and I passed the rest on my own)
Maybe this AF will pick up in intensity...mine sometimes starts off slow. Or it could be b/c you lost so much blood with the m/c. I wouldn't worry too much. I would be worried much more if the bleeding was super heavy. Light flow is always better in my book! If you get worried, of course call the doc, but I think you're just fine!

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about Judy!!!!! Remember back when I had my period for 12 days and I said it doesn't "look" the way my normal periods are??? Well that's exactly what I was talking about! I had no clots or anything!! It's soooo confusing going through all of this!

I wish there was a way to explain it all, but I have no clue as to why this is happening.

If anything, just call your doctor and see what they say.

If it was me I would be doing a HPT... LOL

I guess I would call your doc just to make sure he doesn't want to see you...and if not... just go with it.

So much is messed up after a m/c. Seems like if it isn't normal...it's normal...KWIM?

I have had NO bleeding today, none on the the TP when I wipe or on the pad...I don't know...I guess I will just go with it and wait until next month...if it's not right I will call my GYN...If I start feeling PG I guess I will test...who knows?????? Thanks for the help ladies!
