I could never handle prenatals so I take a chewable multi vitamin plus a folic acid plus an omega3. I like the Country Life brand from the health food store. What do you all take / brand?

I was taking the Target version of the Stuart prenatals but then my OB gave me boxes upon boxes of samples of Rx prenatals. So I'm taking them right now. The kind I'm using right now has an Omega 3 pill and a prenatal that has extra B6. Tasty.

I take primacare, dr. ordered! They have omega 3 in them which is really good for me with my blood clotting disorders! I also take 100mg of B6 to help my LP be longer. I also take a baby aspirin, calcium with vit d and magnesium to help with the absorption. Oh and I was also ordered to take 5 mg of folic acid. Ok, sorry I have a long list and I didn't even mention the stuff for my diabetes. ha

If you are looking for a good vitamin though, the primacare is the best so far that I have had. It even takes good, although it is fairly large!

Hey Em, the omega 3 is a fatty acid from fish that helps your brain and heart and a few others. Your body cannot naturally produce it so you either eat a bunch of fish or supplement or both. I think it is important to take once you are pregnant but not so much while ttc. I actually take it for my own health benefits. Lord knows I need all the brainpower I can get since I lost half my brain after having Naden!
