 I'm SO paranoid!!!! WHAT on Earth is he going to talk to me about?!?!?!?
I don't keep my phone on me during the day, and he clearly called and I obviously missed it. He left a message saying "Hey Babe, it's me I'm just at work, listen (pause) .... we need to talk..... I love you"
That was IT!!!
OMG...I'm going insane over here!!!!!! I called back, no answer, left a message..sent a text message...still nothing!!!!!

Well, we talked! It wasn't what I expected, and I'm actually still crying sitting here.....
He told me he doesn't want to get married....
in May 2010....
He wants....
TO GET MARRIED AT CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! NEXT MONTH!!!!
I'm SOOOOOOOOOO shocked, excited, nervous, terrified...oh my God!!! I just don't have words right now!!!!!!! We hung up like half an hour ago and I'm still shaking with excitement!!!!
He said the main reasons are...he loves me and wants me to be his wife, he wants me to be covered under his insurance from work, for when we get pregnant, he doesn't want medical bills haunting us for years! And he really wants us to be a family, and be together ALL of the time!!! 
Of course...where are we going to live??? That's the only thing that comes to mind!!! I told my mom, and she said "well...all we can do is start building a place in the basement for you guys". So...that's the project!!! Finishing the basement so my HUSBAND and I can live there!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!!! I'm sooooo excited!!!!!!!

OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! I am SO excited for you!!!!!
Don't let anyone scare you, weddings can be easy to plan and fairly inexpensive. We did ours (300 invites) for total $3000. Dress, food, decorations, rental costs, everything, but we did everything ourselves.
(I got married when I was 20, too! )

awww! I was really hoping it was going to be good news and he was just being a punk! Congratulations!!! What kind of dress are you going to get?
I agree with greenchild, you really can plan everything yourself these days, with the internet's help. My DH and I did it all ourselves and saved a lot of money.
We got lucky too because I went to a bunch of the local dress shops and found one that actually fit me right off the rack. they only had to do a few alterations on it and it only took about 3 weeks to get it back. I'd say get the dress taken care of first though just because of the alterations!

Ladies...I'm SO nervous!!! I told my parents, and he told his...they are just dumbfounded that he wanted to move the wedding up...by almost 2 years! We have so much stuff to plan...but...we're thinking about just doing something small. Just our parents, siblings, Markus and the JP...or whoever marries us. I won't wear a dress, simply because I HATE them!
That's alllllllll I've managed to think about clearly! We have to go get the marriage license, the certificate, I have to get the "change of name" form or whatever it is...AHHH!!! SO much stuff!!!!!
Thank you allllllll for the congrats!!!! I truly do appreciate it!!!
