Welp..i know i said i was just going to "not prevent" this month... but i figured it up ( i know i shouldnt have because my period might not even be normal and because i wasnt supposed to be trying) and if i O on the normal day... then my EDD is Aug 26th which is the day after my Bday!!! how cool would that be!!! and that would put my babies almost exactly the same age difference apart that me and my first little sister are.. which would also be really cool!

SO i am still planning on not trying to hard... BUT i might attack my DH a few more times than i would normally during certain times of the month...

OK.. Q about temping... how the heck to you know when you are Oing... it seems like you can only know AFTER the temp spike... so??? how do you estimate the day??? w/o OPKs?? cuz im not using those.. (im not trying this month right)

I use mycycle.com which estimates when I will O. Then I use FF which is where I put in all my temps. It has confirmed the date that mycycle came up with for the last 3 months or so. It seems to work for me anyway!

I don't use OPKs. That is just a level of obsession I won't allow myself. I tend to become a total POAS-oholic as it is!

Yep - you are right - temps with FF are useless in predicting O. It just tells you after the fact - which is too late of course. I think if you are not going to use OPK's, then you just have to go with CM and maybe that site that Frangipani uses. I don't know anything about it myself.

Also, just so you know CM is not always all that accurate. Now that I have been temping a few months, I realized that my O sometimes happens on a heavy CM day and then sometimes it happens after I seem to have dried up. So, just something I wanted to share that I was surprised about and only found out through temping/OPK's.

Good luck - hope to see you in August DDC - wish I could "not try" with you!!

I know nothing about temping, so I can't help you out!

Good luck though!!! Sounds like Frangipani & vicorialv helped you out with that!!

Hope you make it into the August DDC!!!

I can't help with temping but I did use OPK's for the first time this month and they are really great. They help with my poas and they are not too expensive. Like $15-$18 for a pack of 20 dip sticks... I hope you ovulate when you think you will and that you make it in the August DDC. I am shooting for August also!

After you chart for a couple months you will start to see a pattern and have a really good idea of when you are going to O.

Honestly though... just BD every other day and you will have all bases covered We aimed for the every other day method last month from around CD 10-20 and got a BFP. (Short lived... but still a BFP!)

I think I was stopping the BD too soon on my previous cycles. We wore ourselves out trying to get as much baby making in before O as possible that I think I was missing my actual O date. I am pretty sure I O two days after FF says.

Okay I think I got long winded.... LMAO.

OPK's are great and I REALLY suggest you try them..... when you are TTC *wink* of course
