Dwayne's step-dad is sick...we think

I'm on the phone with Dwayne literally all day long on and off. We spent last night together after work..he picked me up and we went back to his house. His step-sister didn't work cuz she's sick...so with him picking me up after, I was able to spend the rest of the night and part of the morning with him.

Anyway...getting back on the topic...Dwayne mentioned that his step-dad is seeing the doctor tomorrow...

His step-dad has been having these weird like..forgetting spells. Like, he'll be out driving and forget where he's going. Or where he lives. It's happened a few times now, and we're all getting worried about him. Earlier this month, Markus was at the house and Peter took him to go to Toys R Us. Well, on the way back from Toys R Us, he forgot where he was going. Literally left his mind about where he lived. He pulled the car over, and was in the parking lot of a plaza. Luckily one of Dwayne's friends saw them and went over to talk to him. He just looked at Dwayne's friend and said "I don't know where I live" so he called the house and Dwayne's mom ran down the street to get them. They were basically 5 minutes from home.

They're taking him to the doctor to see what's going on with him. I'm praying like crazy hoping it's nothing serious. I know he's not Dwayne's biological father, but Dwayne loves the man like he is.

Just heard from Dwayne...here's what he said...

Peter was complaining of a really bad headache all last night and this morning. The doctor doesn't like the symptoms he's having and they've sent him for blood work and they've scheduled a CT scan when he's done with the blood work.

The doctor has mentioned the possibility of alzheimer's or a brain tumor.

Hopefully I'll have something positive with the next update from Dwayne.
