Hi. My name is Whitney and I am new here. I got a BFP on 11/9. I was very exited. We weren't trying, but we weren't preventing either. Then, last Tuesday(11/19) I had some spotting. It started to get worse so I called the doctor. They did an ultrasound and couldn't find anything in my uterus. Blood work showed bad levels, and I ended up miscarrying on Thanksgiving.
My doctor says I can start to try after my next normal period. I'm hoping that comes quicker rather than later, because now I really want to start trying! I think I am pretty much done from bleeding from my m/c, so hopefully it won't be an enormous wait for AF to come.
So, I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking for a couple of days now and you seem like a great group!

I'm so sorry for you loss & wish you didn't have to join us. I think you'll find that you can ask us anything or vent about anything and you'll always get the support/humor you need to get through this rough time. Hi Whitney, sorry to about your loss. I know what you mean about wanting to try now when you weren't before the mc. I was the same way, a mc changes everything. Well, again I am sorry and please know we are here to help and support you.

Hi there! and welcome! im sorry you have to be on this board.. I hope youre period comes quickly too!! most ppl say 4-6 weeks after your bleeding stops... But mine came 10 days after my bleeding stopped... exactly 4 weeks after my m/c and 2w 4d after my d&c... SO it might not be that far off!

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss!!! I hope AF comes soon for you, so you can get back up in the saddle and try again. My first AF post m/c was 32 days after the bleeding had stopped.
