I think I've got a set in stone system for figuring out where my cervix is. It's too hard with no guidelines becuase then I keep asking myself, "Is this medium or high? Is this higher than yesterday?"
For me, I check in the morning with my right index finger. If the os is lower than my fingertip (finger inserted normally, without straining at all to get higher) then I mark that as low. If the os is right on my fingertip, I mark it as medium. If the os is higher than my fingertip (and I have to strain my finger to feel it) I mark that as high.

For firm, medium and soft I just have to wing it. And I still have not been able to tell the difference between a closed or open os, so I'm still working on that.

I just thought that may help someone...I think if you set up some guidelines it will help you to be more consistent so you can figure out patterns from month to month.

Depending on what today's OPK looks like, I think I may ovulate tomorrow. Probably will DTD tonight.

I'm kinda worried though because I am not having near as much EWCM as I would expect.

It sure does sound like you've got a system going!! I have no clue what my cervix even feels like!

In regards to your CM...do you usually have a lot during your O time?? You probably should DTD just incase!!

Good luck Shannon!!! Hope you get your soon!!

Oh, that is great advice - thanks!! I have such a hard time figuring that out, but that sounds like a great way to do it.

How did your OPK turn out?

Good luck girlie!

The OPK is almost positive. Since I usually end up Oing on the day that I get a positive OPK, I think I will ovulate tomorrow!

We DTD tonight. I put on some nice skimpy clothing instead of the usual jeans and tennis shoes and Dh asked me if it was baby making time.

It'd be nice if we got in one more BD tomorrow if I do O, but I'm not going to push it with Dh. The day before O is probably good enough.

The CM...it just seems like I used to have more and it seems a little more sticky than it should be. I may take some Robitussin before I go to bed. I hope the m/c didn't mess up my CM somehow.

Thanks for the luck and dust girls.

I actually didn't think of it that way.

Actually, he might complain. We're normally more like a once a week couple, so bumping it up to every other day when I'm fertile is about the max. Two days in a row and I probably would hear complaining about how I am too obsessive. He's probably turn me down actually.
He also doesn't really like having to do it on a timeline, which was why I didn't even bring up the fact that it was baby making time. He doesnt' like doing it when neither of us starts out "in the mood" (and neither of us will be tomorrow, more than likely) so it's probably better for my sanity and my ego that I do not try to BD tomorrow.

ha! i SO know what you mean about the ego thing!!!!

and i avoid telling my DH that we "need to" at all costs because i think he feels pressured and then..yeh, things dont go well.. or it just plain sucks.. so i know what you mean... But i think my Dh wants another baby..(he has baby fever too).. . So i tell him the "fertile window" and let him kinda take it from there... i think he thinks baout it more, thus he's more in the mood... and it tends to happen when it "needs" to happen...
