Eric is 6'4" and I am just under 5'2". LOL I was even wearing 3.5" heels in that pic.

The running joke up to our wedding was "Are you (me) going to stand on a box or will he get on his knees?" Neither, I lifted up on my tiptoes and he bent down.

hehehe that is so funny!!! my DH is 6' 6 1/2" and I am 5'2". One of our wedding photos is of me standing on a rock so I could reach him to kiss him! Have to dig that one up and post it

That is quite the difference...it's amazing.

I'm hoping that our children find a happy medium. I actually got my height (or lack thereof) from my great grandmothers on both sides. My mom and dad are both average height...5'5" and 5'7".

DH's family is full of tall men. The women aren't so bad, but my FIL is only about 1/2 an inch shorter than DH.

same here. at the tallest on my side of the family is 6' or maybe 6'1". His mom's side they're not tall, his dad's side they are. DH is 1/2" taller than his dad too. Even the women are pretty tall.

Scary thing is, there's a shortening trend on my side! My grandma never grew taller than my great-grandma, my mom never grew taller than grandma, and I never grew taller than my mom!
