I lost a baby this summer they said it was a normal miscarriage (what is a normal miscarriage)? I was told after my 3 week check up that everything was okay and to wait two normal periods before tyring to concieve again. That was September and October. And we waitied and started trying again and nothing. I have a 7 year old daughter and had no problem getting pregnant with her and then this summer happened right away too. I was on birth control since my 7 year old was born till Jan 2007. I waited a few months and got pregnant in May 2007. This is the baby I lost this summer. I have never had a problem before and now it isn't working. Does anyone have any thoughts for me. I have set up a Dr. appointment but with the Holiday's I can not get in till Jan10, 2008. Please help me, I have never had to ask for help before.

First off, I am so sorry for your loss. You are definitely in the right place for help and support. The ladies here are fabulous!

A normal miscarriage? I'm not sure what that means either, I've heard of natural miscarriage, where you pass it on your own. Or a D&C where you have to have surgery to remove it.

Either way, I'm glad to hear that you're healthy and your doctor gave you the go ahead on trying to conceive again. A lot of women on this board chart their temps and take ovulation tests to maximize their chances. You might want to try to do that. Otherwise, in my opinion, two months without a positive test isn't too bad. Maybe your body was still "out of whack" and you didn't ovulate those months. I would give it a couple more months of trying without success before worrying too much.

Good luck! I hope you get a BFP soon! Look forward to getting to know you.

I would say that your body is still getting back to normal. It takes some time for it to do that because one of the main things its doing is building up your lining again. Two months isnt that long even though to you it may feel like a life time. Give it a few months and then see what your doctor says. I got pg pretty quickly with both my losses and am now going to the doctors after 9 months. I would try the temping with FF and OPK's. You may be Oing at a different time now from the m/c. That can happen. Sorry I know you want it to happen right away, we all do but it may take some time. Sorry for your loss. You are in the right place, we can help you with the loss and with the journey of TTC.

I am very sorry for your loss.

The other girls know more than me.

I have been pregnant 3x, all of them were within the first cycle of trying.

and now that I havehad a miscarriage this last month was my first time not getting pregnant the first cycle!

So I am paranoid, lol, but I think like the other girls said, its normal after a miscarriage, our bodies are still a little crazy.
