Have you ever used ttc abbreviations while talking to someone in person? If so, how did they react?

I have used DPO, and cm,.....lol.....they were like HUH?????????

no, but I've had to stop myself many times!!! Especially in emails - I always want to abbreviate but no one will know what it means!

LMAO!!!! I do it ALL the time!!!

I use DPO, O, CM, & AF. My sister looks at me like I have 5 heads!!!

The other day I told my husband my OPK says no but my EWCM says yes and he just looked at me like I was crazy and then requested a translation...I was LMAO.

not yet, but I let my DH read some of the replies and stuff that I get every once in a while so now, when he's on his message board (for our local hockey team) he comes to me asking if I know what his abbreviations mean

Also, I have 2 girlfriends that are members of JM and every once in a while (usually when we're having a few drinks) we use some of the "JM talk" like BDing or baby dust and the people around us think we're nuts!!!

I LOVE IT!!!
