TMI TO COME............... Just wondering if any of you noticed your CM change since m/c??? For years I've known when I'm ovulating by crampy/twingey feelings and subsequent EWCM (and since ttc, have been doing an OPK at the right time to confirm) Normally my almost fertile CM is creamy/lotion like and white... and my "fertile" CM is actually clear, egg white like and STRETCHY for about 2-3 days, as it is supposed to be according to the books... but this month, although it is stretchy (although not as much as before m/c), it has a more creamy look (not clear) and is yellowish... I've never had this before... I'm getting negative OPK's, and haven't had the crampyness yet.. I'm on CD21 and should be ovulating now.. either yesterday, today, or tomorrow if my schedule was normal . Generally my cycle is 34 days long. Last month, I ovulated 2 days later than expected but still got my normal signs leading up to it. And, we BD'ed right on time and caught the egg. It's the yellow color that's really throwing me off... What's up with that?

Maybe I'm going to ovulate late? not ovulate at all? ovulated early and didn't know? or may the yellowish CM is a sign of infection or something? I can't imagine I ovulated early and didn't know it, my signs have always been so clear to me... I had a chemical pregnancy and natural m/c so there was no D&C..

Any suggestions or personal experiences you could share?

I can't remember what my cycle was after my first mc, so I hope other girls can help you here. But after I gave birth to my dd I noticed yellow stretchy cm, I ended up going to the dr. for a follow up and found out I have BV and also I had a uterine infection, so I am not sure which one caused it. I know that pregnancy can mess up our cycles though and probably the cm too. Hope someone else can be more help.

well i cant really say for sure... but i was thinking this month that my CM was more yellow than usual too...not dramatically though. I figured it was just becuase my uterus was still kinda getting rid of whatever excess was in it.. or it was part of the healing process... but i had a d&c... soooo...

I also wonder if it has something to do with the stuff I read on being more fertile right after a miscarriage.. maybe the CM change is in line with being more fertile???

Has A/F visitied since your m/c? (I kind of got confused) or is this going to be the first A/F since your m/c. If it is the first one...then you may not ovulate. Also after a loss it takes a while for your body to get back to normal, and you may have some things that change for good. Sorry I wasn't much help.

Yes, this is my first AF since m/c... I assumed that you count CD1 from the first day of bleeding with the m/c.. is this right?

I've heard all different things to answer that. I assumed that it was when the hcg was out of my system. I don't know if this will help but...I had a m/c (D&C) on Oct. 17, went to the Dr. a few times, it took until Nov. 2nd for the pregnancy test to be low enough to be called negative, I think the numbers were at like 5 or something. I got my first AF Nov. 23. Every woman's body is different. I don't know if a chemical pregnancy would allow for ovulation earlier than someone who had a D&C. I was 13 weeks along too, so that probably makes a difference. I wish I could help more!!!

You cound CD1 as the day you miscarried, but you may not O this cycle. You will have your first a/f after your levels have dropped below 5. For me it took 28 days exactly from the date of m/c to first a/f and I do not believe I Oed that cycle. Keep us posted
