could my bfp be left over from my m/c??

Hey

So I just posted this morning's test in the testing today post. From what I can speculate I'm about 10 dpo--I don't temp. There's a faint pink line and looks positive but I can't really believe it.

I'm just so skeptical. First of all of the cheapo test, and secondly I was wondering if all the HCG is out of my body from October? What do you guys think. M/C on 10/15 had a period on 11/19 and am assuming O'd around 11/30 and 12/2. My doctor had said it could take 6 weeks after the m/c to get down to 0 but I never took a test and my last blood test the first week of October was around 12000. So I'm thinking surely all that is gone right??

Have sore bbs, fatigue and sore gums.

I bought 5 more tests today. Will follow with more pics as now I know how to post them (thanks Angela and Bobbie!)

Wooo hooo! Congrats! I say that there's no way that's still left over from your m/c. I had my d&c on 10/17 and went to the ER 10/28 b/c of excessive bleeding and passing clots (sorry tmi). They're guessing that I was passing what the d&c missed. At that point my levels were still at 24. 2 weeks after that my levels were at 0 and I had my 1st AF 11/19 (just like you). I'm pretty sure your levels have to be less than 5 for you to have AF again, and your levels have to be AT LEAST 20 (usually 25-50) for a hpt to show a BFP. So you are pg girlie!! YAY!!!

That's right I remember you and I were almost exactly the same. I m/c at 11 weeks 2 days too and then AF came too on the same day. Well get to testing girl maybe we can pass some more milestones together.

What you said is what I was thinking; that surely by the time AF showed the HCG would be gone. So hope we're right.

yeh.. you wouldnt have had a period if you still had HCG .... SO WOW YAYYYYY!!! im so happy for yoU!!! you are one day ahead of me.. maybe ill test tomorrow morning.. i need to go shopping...

I'm in the same boat as you girls. D&C 10/17, 1st AF 11/23....

Anywhoooo, you are pregnant girl. After having AF the HCG would be totally gone I would imagine....

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Hopefully this will be a trend on this board this month

Go shopping Em. The Walgreens in Miami used to have them buy one get one free for like $7 so that's not too bad. Maybe that was a special promotion but you could try if you have Walgreens.

I would say you're pregnant. You did have AF 20 days after d and c correct?? If it's not 20 days afterwards it's not considered you're period. I miscarried Sept. 18. Had a d and c on the 19th of September. I didn't bleed for 2 days and then started cramping and passing clots. I called the doctor and was told it was normal. It went on for at least 2 weeks and I finally stopped. I took a pregnancy tests about 4 days later to see if it was back down...and it popped up positive fast. I called the doctor for the 1,000th time and he had me come in for a beta which was 592. Then they did an ultrasound and they found retained issue. So I had another d and c on October 20th. 5 days later I took a pregnancy test and it was negative so it had to be under 25. Had a beta a week and a half later and it was 2. So long story short...hcg drops pretty quickly. And like I said if it was a true period you are definitely preggo!!! Congrats.
