my doctor said i had to wait one full cycle, so would that be after my next normal peroid (presumably early Jan)? or would it be after my early feb period, making one full cycle being the one normal cycle after the bleeding from this stops? does that make sense?

I think they *usually* mean after 1 cycle not including your bleeding from your m/c. So...I guess that would be after your January cycle.

I just posted a welcome to you on your other post, but just wanted to say hi and welcome again! I look forward to getting to know you!

Waiting one full cycle is waiting for your FIRST AF to start post m/c. Which, could be January for you, or could be at the end of this month.

Hope this helps hun!!!

Ditto to what the other girls said, but just be aware after a M/C you body becomes a traitor and doesn't always do what it is suppose to do. We are here for you Alana!

Hey Alana,

Every woman is different. Hahah, that's what my doctor always says when I ask her questions...anyhow...in my experience I got AF 36 days after D&C and I'm pretty sure I have ovulated this cycle. You could get AF anywhere from 2-8 weeks after miscarriage. You could possibly ovulate before your first AF after m/c I think? And you could or could not ovulate first cycle after miscarriage. But I think the girls that posted about your body being a traitor, it is common to have short or longer cycles, not ovulate, not have a predictable cycle, etc. following miscarriage. Someone put on here somewhere that your body is ready to be pregnant 9 months and when it all the sudden stops it can take a while to get back to "normal." Let's hope you get AF in a couple weeks and start having normal cycles right away! But if that's not the case you can vent to us about it all! Good luck!
