The only other time I remember bleeding this much was when I had my miscarriage in June. It's REALLY heavy and has lots of clots. OMG!!! I'm really worried!!! AND I'm having cramping - bad cramping!!!
I sleep with 2 pads on, and it went THROUGH both pads, onto my panties, THROUGH my panties, onto my pj bottoms. I'm now using a tampon, and a pad and I've had to change BOTH every 1.5 hours. Because it's soaked through!!
What the HELLLLLLL is going onnnnnnn???
Could this be the result of my cycle being 46 days long??? My last AF was 12 days long and wasn't like this AT ALL!!!!
HELP!!!!
********
Dwayne took me to the clinic down the street to get a hCG test done. I called him basically bawling at work, and told him what was going on, he came home right away.
The nurse said it could be a m/c or like you girls mentioned - LOTS of extra lining. So now I wait until either late tomorrow or Monday for the results. She said that if I was pregnant, my levels wouldn't have dropped to 0 yet, and they should still be able to tell if I was or not.
Thanks for everything, I'm definitely going to be in an upset mood all weekend.

I hate to mention this but do you think maybe you could have had another m/c this month? Didn't you have a positive test that you then thought was an evap because you then started AF? I hope that isn't the case but maybe you should call the doc to run it past her/him.
I hope the bleeding and cramping stops soon. Please keep us posted.

Danica, that's exactly what I'm thinking is going on. I don't understand!!! I looked over my chart on MMC.com and I realize that I DID O on the 22nd, I probably was pregnant. I just don't get why I didn't get the 'positive' until I was passed the 6 week mark. I feel soooooo empty, just like I did in June!!!

oh sweety Im so sorry
I have no idea whats going on except its from another miscarriage, or maybe your cycle being so long caused alot of buildup in the lining of your uterus.
I would call your dr.

yeh it could be a long cycle thing.. But id go to the OBG anyways.. because its not normal to have cycles that long anyways! so if its not a m/c maybe they can tell you something about why youre haivng long cycles.. Id go tomorrow too.. if possible..

Jessica I have to agree with the other girls. I sounds like it could be a m/c, but either way I think you should atleast check it out with your doctor.

I am glad you went to have it checked out. Hopefully you don't have to wait too long for the results.

Cramping has stopped, NOT like my m/c in June! I had cramping for like 3 FULL days.
I'm starting to think it's only my cycles being so flipping long. I HATE this!! My flow has slowed down a little bit, not that much though. I've taken off the pad and there's nothing on my panties, so that's good.
Thanks for the thoughts ladies!!! I'm hoping I get the results back tomorrow morning.

I've been thinking about you since I read this last night, any results yet?
Back when I was in high school I got really god awful cramps and tons of blood with clots in it. The cramps were so painful that I actually fainted at school! And there was definitely no possibility of a miscarriage b/c I didn't have a boyfriend...anyhow, I'm hoping that you just had a bad AF and it will NEVER happen to you again!
Keep us posted

I got the results back!!! I was amazed at how quick it was!! Since it's a 'sexual aid clinic' they rush all blood tests from the time they close. I dunno how they manage that, but oh well!
Results were -- my hCG level was 0!!! I wasn't pregnant, this is just a REALLY AWFUL period!!! Which is slowly ending already!
Heather -- It's not my actual doctor that I went to see, just a clinic doctor and nurse. I mentioned to them about my loooooooooong cycles and all they said was to go see my family doctor and talk to him.

I just thought I would mention that I have had long cycles and heavy af's with it. Af would always last longer too. I think it has a lot to do with extra lining. I am getting checked for pcos again because they believe i have it, due to the irregular cycles. You might want to get checked for this if your cycles dont regulate. I hope you are feeling better now.

Hey Jess!
I was MIA for a couple days (at my mom's!), and am soooo glad to hear you're feeling a bit better now and that you weren't pregnant! Hopefully you can get the thing with your cycles figured out so you don't have to go through this again!
Hugs!
