Hi Ladies...

I have had three miscarriages total. I had one in 2002. Then I had my son in 2003 and I have had two m/c since. I did IUI on November 11th and it was successful. I posted this also in my August DDC but have not had much response. I thought some of you may have some insight.

I have had a little bit of spotting yesterday...it was a watery red. Just a quarter size drop on a panty liner twice. I called the doctor and he told me that since I have seen the heartbeat, if it is going to be a miscarriage, it is most likely due to a chromosonal abnormality. He said the spotting this early in pregnancy is very normal and if it does not get any worse to just wait until Thursday morning when I would be going in anyway for my next u/s.

My back does ache a little and I am having a slight ache in my pelvic region but I have had this since the beginning.

This morning there was a little blood that I could see pooled in the toilet and some on the toilet paper. It still seems to be a small amount.

Anyway...just wondering if anyone has also had a similar experience...either this time or in the past?

Thanks for your input!!!!

I really sorry that you are having to deal with this. I cant really help because both times I've had a m/c I started bleeding a lot but I had no cramping. I would call your doctor again just to let him know that you are still bleeding even a little bit. With my first m/c I heard the heart beat and lost the baby due to a chromosonal abnormality. She had Turner's Syndrome. I hope you get some answers soon and just try to stay positive.

I know they say that it is okay to have some spotting but we all know that doesn't help ease the anxiety. I would continue to call your doctor to try to get in earlier than Thursday to ease you mind. That is what I did. I called them twice a day for 2 days in a row and they let me come in early. I really hope everything is okay. (((HUGS)))

I don't know if this helps or not, but I had spotting at just about that time with my daughter who is now two. It would have been right around the time AF would have been (maybe a little later - I don't remember exactly). It lasted a couple days and scared me to death, but the pregnancy (obviously) was fine.

That said, I would also contact your doc if you're still bleeding. You just never know. It could mean something, or it could mean nothing. It's SO early on in your pregnancy, you just don't know.

HUGS and good wishes for you!! I hope it's nothing!!

I would definitely try to get in for an u/s....it's the only way you're going to put your mind at ease. I really hope everything is ok, but I'm sure you'll still stress until you can see your little baby for yourself.

I'm sorry you have to go through this, how scary!!! All I know is when I had a m/c I had major major major cramps before any dot of blood. I know everyone says it's common so early in pregnancy to have a little spotting, but I'm sure it's not any less scary.

There's a big chance that it's just lining or the baby burrowing in deeper.

Keep us updated. Good luck, I'll be thinking about you!
