Will this work???

Okay, so I posted a topic a couple days ago about my OPK tests. The one I thought was positive I think now was a false positive. Cuz then I tested again and it was negative. However, I tested ALL day yesterday, and they were ALL positive. Then this morning, negative. So, I'm O'ing now (right?).

Well, dh and I DTD last night and the night before, but we won't be able to tonight cuz we're staying at my mom's house overnight (NO privacy there - not even a chance of it!). I'm thinking that last night and the night before will be enough.

Am I right??? I think I am, but need some reassurance...lol! I just don't want to be at my mom's house, going " Oh man, we should be DTD right now - I wanna be pregnant!"

Ohhh....the obsessions we have while trying to get pg...lol...someone HELP!

i think thats fine.. infact.. if i have my head on straight..i THINK that when you get a negative OPK that it means you already Oed...and youre in your luteal phase.. i THINK.. hopefully i can get someone to second that..

That'd be GREAT!!! That would mean that we already DTD when it really counted! I thought when you got a positive OPK, that you would O in the next 24 hours or so, but I haven't researched it as much as some of the ladies. I'm thinking that last night would have been perfect timing, but now I'm doubting myself cuz we won't be able to do it tonight!

well i looked at FF page.. and searched their chart gallery for other charts with OPK tests..

and it looks like most ppl would get a Pos the day before they Oed.. the day of.. and then a negative the day after they Oed.. But some got Positives on all three days.. and others got positives at other random times during their cycle..

What ive heard about OPKs is that you pee on them until you get a Pos..then NOT to pee on them again... then you DTD that night, and the next two nights.. and you have a good chance.. But i know your cycle was weird this time..

I am pretty sure you O 12-72 hours after the last + OPK. But I think you will have a very good chance of getting PG with when you BDed. Sperm can live up to 5 days in the right *conditions* I have no idea what those conditions are though. I guess it's fertile CM?

I see a + OPK for around 3-5 days and then O... so it's normal to see more than one day of + OPK's.

I don't know much about OPKs, but it does sound like you get a positive around the time you O, and then negative after. Which is what Em and Bobbie already said!

Have fun in the 2WW!!! And if you're worried about not being able to BD tonight when you want to -- sneak it in!!! You'll find a way! I'm sure of it!
