AWW Melissa. I am soooo sorry

I was with my Grandma when she passed too. I have never experienced anything like that before. If you need anything, just ask

Oh Melissa,

I am so sorry for your loss. I know it's hard, especially around the holidays and having to bury him on Christmas Eve must be agonizing. Try to find comfort in the fact that he and your late grandmother are reunited now, and he's definitely in a better place where there is no more suffering or pain. I will say a prayer for you and your family.

Melissa, I'm SO so so so sorry!!!

Reading this brings back memories of when I got the call that my Nan had died in 2005. I dropped to my knees in the middle of the sidewalk and screamed and bawled my eyes out. I have tears in my eyes just thinking about it right now.

I wish there was something I could do! All I can say is -- remember the good times you shared with him. I know that's going to be hard the next few days, but it sure does help. Think back to those good, fun times. And remember, both your grandma and grandpa are up there in Heaven, looking down on their WONDERFUL granddaughter! Telling her not to cry, but to remember the good times they all shared together.

Ok...now I'M crying!

I'm SO sorry sweetie!!! Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Jessica

Melissa, I cant begin to say how sorry i am to hear about this. It brought tears to my eyes. I lost my DH granda last year right on Christmas day, while we were in Newfoundland having Christmas dinner. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Think about the positive side to this, now you have your own personal Guardian angel.
Remember all the silly jokes he would tell you it will make u smile. Thats what he wants is everyone to laugh and have a good time. Take Care Sweetie....

I am so sorry for the passing of your grandpa, especially at this time of year. I am sure it meant a lot to him that you were there with him in his final moments. I hope you can find some peace in the fact that your grandparents are back together again.

Awe Melissa!!! I am so sorry!!!! But it is a beautiful image in my mind seeing him dancing with your grandma. I know I have never seen him but I can just picture it! How beautiful that they are together again. I am so sorry that you are hurting! It is so tough to lose a loved one.

I'm sooooooo sorry for your lost...

It's been years, but I lost my mom at Christmas time too. I know that she's here with us in spirit though. I also think it's a wonderful thing you said to him before he passed. This is the first Christmas he will spend with his wife in so many years. Try to take comfort in that... A co-worker made a comment to me once, after I lost the baby, that this year, my mom was meant to rock her grandchild on Christmas, not me... Different, but kinda the same...

No matter what we say though, it still hurts... Hugs to you and your family through this difficult time...

ohh Melissa, I'm so sorry to hear that. What you said to him was beautiful though. Maybe that was what gave him permission to let go, you know? (((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))
