Hi! My name is Beth. My DD is 20 months old and was born 3 months early due to pre-eclampsia. My son was still born on August 4 this year at 33 weeks. I was pre-eclamptic with him too, but we don't know why he died.

I really want to TTC again, but I'm terrified at that prospect of losing another child. I desperately want more children, but my body just seems to be horrible at being pregnant and I just don't know why. No one does. I've done so many tests and stuff. So, I just wonder if anyone has been in that kind of situation before? Thoughts?

First, let me say how deeply sorry I am to hear of the loss of your son!!! I remember seeing your siggy somewhere else, and your son is absolutely beautiful!!! Your daughter too!!!

Second, I think we all go through those thoughts of being scared during the topic of TTC after a Loss. I think it's something every woman on here can relate to. Of course, I personally can't say I've experienced the same "type" of loss that you have, but, we all understand the heartache and lost feeling that comes with losing a baby.

I just want to say, that it's nothing you have done to loose your son. It's not your fault!!

I wish you nothing but the best in the future and when you begin TTC again. I hope you get pregnant as soon as you're ready for another baby.

to you and lots of

Beth.... both of your children are beautiful

I can only think God has a plan and if you want more children do not stop trying. I really believe the best things in life are the ones that do not come easy. You are very welcome here on this board if you are TTC or not. Feel free to hang around with us.

On 1/31 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon. He was our 7th loss
If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pitures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3

Thank you. My husband is the only one who has ever said that to me. I mean, I blame myself all the time, but it is nice to hear and be reminded it wasn't my fault.

Thank you both for your replies. Hopefully I'll officially join you sometime next year. I'll be praying for BFPs and sticky little beans for you all!

No need to thank me, Beth! It's the truth!! It's NOT your fault!!! I hope you stick around, we love new ladies on here! And I'm not actively TTC at the moment either, so, we're both waiting for God's gift.
